Family Consortium Workgroup

The role of the Family Consortium is to develop a contiuum of personal and community supports for children and families in our community, and to help ensure that the voices of families are heard at all levels of Durham SOC. Families and human service staff work together to determine how best to support other families, to learn about obtaining needed resources and to promote family centered planning. The Family Consortiuum is dedicated to creating methods in which families can share their perspectives to help drive improvements in the system and build relatiuonships with programs and agencies that deliver services.
